Our School
Lakeview Union School serves the communities of Greensboro and Stannard, Vermont.
Approximately 70 students in kindergarten through sixth grade attend the school. The school community values and respects the diverse nature of each individual student and works to help meet all students' social, emotion, and academic needs. After graduating sixth grade, children from Greensboro attend Hazen Union School in Hardwick for grades 7-12. Students from Stannard have school choice in grades 7-12. Lakeview Union School District and our board is responsible for the oversight of Lakeview Union School. The Greensboro Town School Board is responsible for overseeing education for prekindergarten students from Greensboro. The Stannard Town School Board governs the tuitioning of its students in grades 7-12 as well as preschool programming. All three school boards are members of Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union (OSSU). OSSU also maintains its own website.
